Protocol meeting at the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia

On February 17, 2026 a protocol meeting was held at the Ministry of High Technology Industry of the Republic of Armenia between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Nikola Nikolov, and the Minister of High Technology Industry, Mkhitar Ayrapetian.
During the meeting, the possibilities for deepening and expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of innovation, high technology, research and development, artificial intelligence, and start-ups were discussed. Ambassador Nikolov highlighted the potential for implementing specific joint projects, business partnerships, and expert exchanges, as well as opportunities for cooperation in the field of high-performance computing and supercomputer infrastructure.
The prospects for interaction between technology parks, educational initiatives, and innovation ecosystems in both countries were also discussed, including in the context of training and developing young talent.
Minister Hayrapetyan described relations between Armenia and Bulgaria as traditionally friendly and expressed interest in deepening cooperation to a strategic level through the implementation of practical projects of mutual interest.
The meeting confirmed the common will for the active development of Bulgarian-Armenian relations in the field of high technology and innovation.
