On 20 January 2026, Nikola Nikolov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia, held a protocol meeting with Alen Simonyan, the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Armenia.
During the meeting, they expressed satisfaction with the excellent state of bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of parliamentary cooperation in developing political dialogue between the two countries.
Particular emphasis was placed on the 2018 Memorandum of Cooperation between the parliamentary friendship groups of Bulgaria and Armenia, and on prospects for further strengthening the interparliamentary partnership.
