His Excellency Kalin Anastasov, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Armenia, on February 22, 2024, took part in a ceremony in support of Ukraine and on occasion of the second anniversary of the Russian aggression against the country. In the representative office of the EU delegation in Yerevan, the flag of Ukraine was solemnly raised, as an expression of support from the EU for preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country. The ceremony was attended by all the ambassadors of the member states based in Armenia, the US ambassador and the Charge d'Affaire of the Ukrainian embassy in Armenia. Ambassador Anastasov also participated in the presentation of the Ukrainian film "Hostomel, the story of one building" and an exhibition presenting the evidence of Russian aggression in the city of Gostomel, Ukraine.
