Armenia expresses its gratitude for the humanitarian aid provided by the Bulgarian government

Ambassador Maria Pavlova has received a thank-you letter from the First Deputy Minister of Health od Armenia Mrs. Anahit Аvanesyan expressing gratitude to the Bulgarian government and the Bulgarian people for the humanitarian aid received to address the corona virus pandemic in Armenia.

“The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria and Bulgarian people for a long-standing and fruitful cooperation and for your generous support to Armenia in the fight against the pandemic”, the letter states.

In addition, deepest gratitude is conveyed to the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of Armenia for all its efforts and invaluable support to the measures taken to prevent the coronavirus epidemic.

In early June, Ambassador Maria Pavlova handed over to the Armenian Ministry of Health 500 sets of medical supplies - specialized protective clothing, helmets and goggles designed for Armenian first-line medics in the fight against the coronavirus.

The aid was provided under the Bulgarian official development aid.
