Shortly before the U.S. Congress adjourned for its summer recess, Chargé d’Affaires Stefka Yovcheva received a special gift from Congressman Joe Wilson, founder and co-chair of the Bulgaria Caucus, and his team — an American flag that flew over the U.S. Capitol on July 4, 2026, in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States and in appreciation for the Republic of Bulgaria’s partnership.
