The vocal ensemble “Divi Zheni,” led by Artistic Director Tatyana Sarbinska, celebrated its 25th anniversary with a remarkable performance in Boston. Among the distinguished guests were Ms. Stefka Yovcheva, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Washington, D.C., and Ms. Daniela Sirakova, Consul of Bulgaria in New York.

Under the leadership of Ms. Sarbinska, “Divi Zheni” captivated the hearts of the audience with the richness, spirit, and authenticity of Bulgarian folklore.

Ms. Yovcheva emphasized that anniversaries such as this are far more than dates on a calendar - they represent countless rehearsals, dedication, and above all, a deep love for Bulgarian folk music and traditions. This inspiring “journey” over the past 25 years would not have been possible without the vision, leadership, and tireless work of Ms. Tatyana Sarbinska, who has built not just an ensemble, but a community - a place where Bulgarian music lives, grows, and touches people’s souls.

Ms. Sirakova delivered remarks on behalf of the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in New York.

On behalf of Ms. Rayna Mandzhukova, Executive Director of the Executive Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, Ms. Yovcheva presented Ms. Sarbinska with a Certificate in recognition of her outstanding contribution to preserving and promoting Bulgarian folklore in the United States, for building cultural bridges between Bulgaria and the United States, as well as on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the vocal ensemble “Divi Zheni.”
