Visa applications C

Applications for C visas for Bulgaria are submitted only at VFS outsourced visa centers in Ankara, Bursa, Edirne, Gaziantep and Istanbul.

Identity documents

Registration for submitting applications for Bulgarian identity documents at the consular office can only be done online at the following link:

In case there are at least 45 days until the current passport/identity card expires/the applicant has a qualified electronic signature, an application for submission of Bulgarian identity documents can be submitted at the following link:

Visa D

Submission of applications for D visas or certification of documents - only in person by the applicant/authorized person and without prior registration.

Bulgarian citizenship

Submission of applications for Bulgarian citizenship - only in person and with prior appointment by calling 0312 467 2071 between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm on the reception days of the consular office.

Prior registration at tel. 0312 468 2071 every working day at the Consular Section between 1:00 pm. and 2:00 pm is needed for submission of documents for family reunion on the basis of a positive decision of the State Agency for Refugees.
