First honorary consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria in Principality of Liechtenstein

At official ceremony in the National Museum in Liechtenstein on the 24th of February 2015 it was announced the opening of the first honorary consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria in Principality of Liechtenstein, with a registered office in Schaan. The official ceremony was opened by HE Dr. Meglena Plugtchieva, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Swiss Confederation and to Principality of Liechtenstein.

Dr. Helmut Schwärzler was nominated and appointed by the Bulgarian government for the function of honorary consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in Principality of Liechtenstein. He is leading lawyer in the Principality and with rich experience in the tourism branch.

Among the special guests at the ceremony were: the foreign minister of the Principality, Dr. Aurelia Frick, the President of the Parliament, Mr. Albert Frick and others representatives of the public and the business community of the Principality of Liechtenstein. Opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria in the Principality of Liechtenstein aims to encourage and enhance   the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the field of business and finance, and cooperation in various projects of mutual interest.

The ceremony was followed by a short musical part, greeting the guests  by the young Bulgarian pianist Irina Georgieva, who played music by Bulgarian and Liechtenstein composers.
