In the period 3–4 October 2015 in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran, the School of International Relations to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Vienna-based International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) organized two-day International Workshop on the topic “Overview of Migration Policy and Migration Management”.

The Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran, was represented in the Seminar by Mr. Georgi Petrov, Attaché – Political Affairs in the Embassy. The participants in the Seminar were representatives of different government and nongovernment organizations related to the issues of migration, representatives of the academic circles in Iran, students in different Iranian universities etc.

The seminar was opened by Dr. Mohammad Hassan Sheikholeslami, Dean of the School of International Relations to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Mr. Martijn Pluim, Director of the Eastern Dimension of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development.
