A group of Bulgarian journalists from national and regional electronic and print media visited NATO Headquarters in Brussels on invitation by the Public Diplomacy Division of the International Secretariat. The visit was organized as part of the Alliance’s policy to inform regularly representatives of key target groups in its member states about its current agenda, particularly with a view to the forthcoming Summit in Lisbon in November this year.

The program of the visit ended up with a meeting with the Permanent Representative of Bulgaria to NATO. Ambassador Churov briefed the journalists on Bulgaria’s profile and priorities in NATO, the structure and tasks of the Permanent Delegation, and went through the main issues, related to the ongoing preparations for the Lisbon Summit.
