On October 7, 2023, the Consul General of Bulgaria in New York, Mr. Angel Angelov, visited the Bulgarian school in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, which is a branch of the St. St. Cyril and Methodius School in Boston. It has been Mr. Angelov's second visit to the school since in-person classes resumed in the spring of 2023 after a three-year hiatus during the pandemic.

During his current visit, Mr. Angelov was happy to note that the school continues to attract new students and their families. He got acquainted with the work and the challenges of the new teachers and parents from the Cape Cod community and took part in an open lesson about the traditional Bulgarian costumes. The Pirin singer Elena Toleva was gest of the school and she introduced the children and parents to the traditional Bulgarian costumes and songs. Many children and their parents sang a folk song and danced.
