On June 2, 2023, the Consulate General hosted the graduation ceremony for the graduates of Hristo Botev School in New York. The memory of the great Bulgarian poet and revolutionary and patron of the school Hristo Botev was also honored. The celebration was attended by teachers, students and parents of the graduates.

The Consul General Mr. Angel Angelov congratulated the students on their successful graduation and wished them much success in their further academic and professional development.

The graduates were greeted by their teachers with a photo presentation from their first years at the school to their graduation, many memories were shared of the past years as they grew and formed under the care and guidance of their teachers. The young people thanked their teachers and parents and talked about their relationship with Bulgaria, which they built and kept as a result of the years spent in the Bulgarian school thousands of kilometers away from their homeland.
