The Consul General in New York Angel Angelov had the opportunity to witness the Lazarus Day celebration of the youngest students at the Bulgarian school in Cape Cod (a branch of the St. Cyril and Methodius School in Boston). After that he had a discussion with the management of the school, teachers and parents.

Achievements and challenges facing Bulgarian schools in the US, as well as best practices were discussed. The Consul General informed about his work and reiterated his support for the school.

The Consul General congratulated the school for resuming the in-person classes after three years of online learning due to the pandemic. Some basic consular services were also provided.
