On November 3, 2015 at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran Ambassador Christo Polendakov, Mr. Ivaylo Yordanov, Counselor, Head of the Consular Section, Mr. Tsvetan Aleksov, First Secretary and Head of the Trade and Economic Affairs Service and Mrs. Cveta Borisova, Assistant to the Consular Section held a meeting with the managers of Iranian tourist agencies that have worked on the Bulgarian tourist market during the summer of 2015. The meeting was attended by representatives of 21 local tourist agencies including Iran Markaz Tour and Travel Agency, Soraya Tour and Travel Agency, Delta Ban, Eli Gasht, Homa Hotel Group, Gardeshgaran Dore Donia, Mahan Tour, Safardoustan Gharan Tour, Pars Palad Tours and Travel and others.

During the meeting both sides expressed their satisfaction with the successful collaboration throughout the past summer tourist season and their desire to increase the number of the Iranian tourists visiting Bulgaria during 2016. They discussed specific aspects of the work process in order to improve the efficiency and the quality of the services as well as new joint initiatives for widening the scope of their activities. In conclusion both sides expressed intention to continue and consolidate the current fruitful cooperation and their desire for an even more successful future collaboration.
