The Ambassador conveys the message that the strategic partnership between Bulgaria and Greece is a pillar of stability and promotion of EU values in our region. He speaks of further deepening of the bilateral relations and expresses confidence that the two countries can become a major energy and transport hub of pan-European magnitude. He stresses that bilateral cooperation in a number of sectors such as energy, transport, communications, trade and technology is key to both the economic prosperity of the two countries and the geopolitical stability of the whole region.

The interview also touched on cooperation in the field of migration and the protection of the EU's external borders, where the two countries share common positions as frontline states. Bulgaria's clear support for EU enlargement to the Western Balkans, provided that the candidate countries meet the membership criteria, including good neighbourly relations, is noted. The consistent support of Bulgaria for Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian aggression is reaffirmed as well. Other bilateral, regional and global issues are also addressed.
