NEW exhibition "Bulgarian monuments under the protection of UNESCO"

 

The exhibition focuses on the presentation of the uniqueness and beauty of the Bulgarian monuments, included in the list of sites of world cultural and natural heritage. The exhibition is dedicated to 65 years of Bulgarian membership in UNESCO and 75 years since the founding of the organization.

The exhibition presents 13 information boards (dimensions: 170 x 80 cm) and 8 photo panels (dimensions: 50 x 70 cm) of the included sites of Bulgaria in the UNESCO list of cultural and natural sites, world heritage sites. The panels reveal seven sites representing the cultural heritage of Bulgaria, two sites of natural heritage and one serial site, which includes Bulgaria. Audiences can enjoy views of the centuries-old beech forests of the reserves in the Central Balkan National Park as part of a UNESCO serial site "Old and centuries-old beech forests of the Carpathians and other regions in Europe", Ivanovo rock monasteries, Srebarna Nature Reserve ", Sveshtari Tomb, Madara Horseman, Pirin National Park, Boyana Church, Kazanlak Tomb, Old Town of Nessebar and Rila Monastery. They are presented through professional art photographs and trilingual scientifically sound texts: Bulgarian, English, French. Most of the photographs in the exhibition are by the authoritative photographer Ivo Hadjimishev.
