UNION OF BULGARIAN ARTISTS

The Union of Bulgarian Artists is a traditional partner of the State Institute for Culture. Since its inception, the Institute has supported two of the world-famous international forums of the Union of Bulgarian Artists - the International Biennial of Graphics - Sofia and the International Triennial of the Stage Poster - Sofia.
The joint project "Cartoonists", created on the initiative of the state Institute for Culture, marks 25 years since the beginning of the democratic changes in the Republic of Bulgaria and was prepared in cooperation with the section "Cartoon" at the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
In 2010, as part of the Sixth International Triennial of Graphic Arts - Sofia 2010, the Mission Gallery of the State Institute for Culture hosted the International Biennial of Graphic Arts - Istanbul, Turkey with the exhibition "Awarded Authors".
In 2007, the exhibition "Schedules from the 5th International Triennial" was included in the project of traveling exhibitions of the Institute and was shown in a number of countries in Europe and the United States.
The State Institute for Culture relies on the professional expertise of the Union of Bulgarian Artists members in judging creative competitions organized by the Institute.
