Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is the first Bulgarian high academic school establishment. Its history is an embodiment and a continuation of the centurylong cultural and educational tradition of the Bulgarian nation.

The State Institute for Culture and the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" partner through the National Research Program "Cultural and Historical Heritage, National Memory and Social Development"  in the preparation and implementation of nationally and internationally significant cultural and educational initiatives.
