The exhibition “Bulgarian graphics” from the collection “Graphics from the Fifth International Triennial of Graphics – Sofia’07” of the Institute for Culture was opened on 23 June 2008 with an introductory speech from the president of PACE Luis Maria De Puch.
The exhibition was presented by the Bulgarian permanent representative to the Council of Europe Ambassador Ivan Petkov and the Deputy Chairperson of the National Assembly Mr Yunal Lyutfi – head of the Bulgarian parliamentary delegation.
The collection “Graphics from the Fifth International Triennial of Graphics – Sofia’07” is a representative selection of some of the finest artists from Bulgaria whose works employ different graphic techniques. The exhibition is made by 35 graphics by Svilen Blazhev. Stefan Bozhkov, Buyan Filchev, Nikolay Maistorov, Simeon Venov, Elena Panayotova, Gredi Assa, Valentin Starchev, Milko Pavlov, Branco Nikolov, Maria Delimarinova and others.
