The Poster Exhibition “Re-action: Bulgaria and the Euro” is a Guest at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The International Triennial of the Stage Poster, as a traditional partner of the State Institute for Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs, is visiting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a collection of posters in the thematic exhibition “Re-action: Bulgaria and the Euro”.
“Re-action: Bulgaria and the Euro” is a special exhibition, the premiere of which was in August at the “Sredets” Gallery under the Ministry of Culture. This is the first visual response of Bulgarian artists from the International Triennial of the Stage Poster to the upcoming admission of our country to the eurozone. This theme united 13 large-format posters – not as comments, but as bright artistic interventions, with many symbols and signs, corresponding to the national and pan-European. The curator is Albena Spasova. The authors are prominent professionals: Prof. Bozhidar Yonov, Katalina Vasileva, Radoslava Boor, Lyuba Tomova, Nenko Atanasov, Damyan Damyanov, Georgi Georgiev – Arshata, Ivan Kashlakov, Mila Lozanova.
The exhibition directly corresponds to the nationwide campaign to popularize the euro. The authors present a genre in art that should be assigned to one of the most dynamic and most reactive. The poster is a multilayered synthesis of a number of other arts.
The posters are hosted at the Central Library by invitation of the State Institute for Culture and will be available for viewing on floor 7 until the end of 2025, after prior agreement with the Institute team to ensure access.
