Bulgarian production participates in Francophone Film Week in Skopje

Bulgaria took part in the Francophone Film Week in the Republic of North Macedonia with a screening of the film “The Foreigner” – a Bulgarian production directed and written by Niki Iliev. The event took place on June 24 in the packed hall of the Cinematheque of the Republic of North Macedonia in Skopje.

The screening was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Skopje, in partnership with the Bulgarian Cultural and Information Center – Skopje and the French Institute in Skopje (Institut français de Skopje).

The film was provided with the assistance of the State Institute for Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, which traditionally supports the participation of our country in international cultural initiatives, promoting cultural diplomacy.

The event gathered a wide audience of cinema fans, representatives of the Bulgarian community in the Republic of North Macedonia, diplomatic guests, friends of the Embassy and regular visitors to the BCIC – Skopje.

Bulgaria's participation in Francophone Film Week reinforces the country's commitment to Francophonie and cultural exchange in the region.
