The State Institute for Culture and the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency Renewed their Partnership on the Eve of the Institute’s 20th Anniversary
The State Institute for Culture under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency (BTA) continue their successful cooperation, with a new partnership agreement being signed today, refreshing the relations between the two institutions since April 2021. This took place at the BTA National Press Club, and the document was signed by BTA Director General Kiril Valchev and the Director of the State Institute for Culture Snezhana Yoveva-Dimitrova.
The existing partnership has been expanded in several directions. BTA will continue to be a media partner of significant events of the State Institute for Culture, including those on the occasion of the institute’s 20th anniversary. Along with this, BTA provided the font LIK, which will be used for posters, websites and invitations of the State Institute for Culture. This gesture will ensure a visible presence of the LIK font in numerous cultural initiatives, as part of the institute's ongoing activity.
"The State Institute for Culture and BTA have a common mission to represent Bulgaria on the international stage, and this partnership will allow us to do it even better," said Kiril Valchev during the signing. Valchev noted that the new contract will provide even greater enrichment of the partnership, with new opportunities for joint media projects and cultural initiatives.
"This partnership will be strategic for us, because in addition to media support, we also have a serious contribution to Bulgaria's cultural diplomacy," said Snezhana Yoveva-Dimitrova. She emphasized that in recent years the State Institute for Culture has been actively present at international forums and is part of important cultural events, including the World Media Meeting of Bulgarian Media in Kyustendil.
In connection with the upcoming celebration of the 20th anniversary of the institute, Ms. Yoveva-Dimitrova announced that on May 8, the exhibition "High Voices" will be opened at the "Toplotsentrala", which will be presented with the media support of BTA.
"It is important for us to be part of this process of cultural diplomacy, to create cultural bridges and to show Bulgaria to the world," she concluded.
Events such as these and the mutual cooperation between BTA and the State Institute for Culture show how important cultural exchange and institutional partnership are for strengthening Bulgaria's position on the international stage.
