Presentation of the Exhibition "Light of the Letters" in the Province of Ontario on the Occasion of March 3

The exhibition „Light of the Letters“ was presented for the second time in the Greater Toronto area. At the initiative of the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Toronto, the exhibition was opened to the public in the days around our National Holiday March 3 at the largest museum in the province of Ontario - Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum - https://regionofwaterloomuseums.ca/en/visit /ken-seiling-waterloo-region-museum-doon-heritage-village.aspx.

The originally scheduled official opening was postponed due to the war in Ukraine, but the exhibition will remain in the museum for visitors. Dozens of Bulgarian citizens living in the Greater Toronto area - Kitchener, London, Waterloo have the opportunity to visit it until March 9.

The initiative is implemented with the assistance of the Bulgarian community in Kitchener, the regional museum of the city and the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Ottawa.

The exhibition "Light of the Letters" was created on the initiative of the State Institute for Culture at the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the occasion of the anniversary of the Slavic alphabet.

The collection was collected by the corresponding member of Bulgarian Academy of Science, Prof. Aksinia Dzhurova and Assoc. Prof. Vasya Velinova, and the works were provided with the assistance of the Elena and Ivan Duychevi Foundation and the Scientific Archive of BAS.
