The State Institute of Culture participates for the second time in the exhibition of Bulgarian books at the Frankfurt Book Fair
For the second consecutive year the State Institute of Culture will be contributing to the successful exhibition of books at the Bulgarian pavilion at the world’s largest trade fair for books, scheduled to take place in Frankfurt am Main between October 15 and October 19, 2008. The State Institute of Culture will organize the transportation of books, to be exhibited in the pavilion.
This year the Ministry of Culture made a selection of Bulgarian books and provided funding to more than twenty publishing houses to enable their participation in the fair. The books selected are mainly works by Bulgarian authors, reference books, books about Bulgaria’s historical and cultural heritage and natural landmarks.
This year’s Guest of Honour at the fair will be the Turkish Republic.
