The "Beginnings" exhibition presented in Skopje
The Museum of Contemporary Art, Skopje, the Republic of Macedonia, initiated a large exhibition of the prominent Bulgarian artists Prof. Stanislav Pamoukchiev. The project was managed by Ms. Eliza Shoulevska, director of the museum and Ms. Zaharinka Bacheva, curator of the exhibition, supported by the State Institute of Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria. The "Beginnings" exhibition was opened on September 12 by Mr. Yavor Miloushev, Deputy Minister of Culture. The opening address revealed clear willingness for dialogue and more intensive cultural exchange between the two countries.
The "Beginnings" exhibition is a collection of some of Pamoukchiev’s most prominent recent works. In his speech the artist defined the search for common symbols and beginnings as a process that could bring closer people, who were born on the same Balkan soil.
The exhibition is open until mid-October at the Museum of Contemporary Art at the Kale fortress in Skopje, the Republic of Macedonia.
