"13 centuries of Bulgaria" National Endowment Fund

In 2019, a cooperation agreement was signed between the National Endowment Fund "13 Centuries of Bulgaria" and the State Institute for Culture to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The two institutions will partner on significant initiatives in the field of culture and on projects that bring together and promote the cultural and historical heritage in European and regional scope.

The fourth edition of the International Youth Festival "River of Tolerance", which NEF "13 Centuries of Bulgaria" will organize in 2020 in Samokov, is the first project in which the two institutions will cooperate. To participate in the festival, the Fund will once again invites prominent artists and young talents from the Balkan countries, who through their art to show how intercultural dialogue creates a common vision of unifying values. For its part, the State Institute for Culture will support the promotion of the results of the project through the opportunity to exhibit the works created during the festival in the gallery "Mission". A common goal will be their presentation at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
