Bulgarian participants in Beijing International Printing Technology Exhibition

On 4 November 2010, the Beijing National Art Gallery hosted an international print graphics exhibition featuring works by visiting artists from the Shijingshan printing facility. Four Bulgarian artists also participate in the exhibition. The possibility for closer future co-operation between the printing facility and Bulgarian artists was discussed at a meeting between a representative of the Bulgarian embassy and the director of the exhibitions and academic exchanges. Currently, the Bulgarian artist Julian Jordanov, winner of the 2008 best prize for ex libris at the 2008 Beijing World Ex Libris Congress lives and works in Guanlan.

With the assistance of the State Institute for Culture, the partnership with the Chinese artists from the Shijingshan printing facility will continue in Sofia. On 6 December 2010, the Sredets Gallery with the Ministry of Vulture will host an exhibition of their works, in the framework of the Sixth Triennial of Graphic Arts.

As partner and co-organiser of the Sixth Triennial of Graphic Arts, the Mission Gallery with the Institute for Culture will host an exhibition of works awarded at the International Biennial of Graphics in Istanbul from 1 to 10 December 2010.

After the closure of the exhibitions accompanying the Triennial of Graphics, some of the works will be selected to form a travelling exhibition under the motto “The Message of Graphics”.
