New Partnership between the State Institute for Culture and the International Foundation "St. St. Cyril and Methodius"
The State Institute for Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs is expanding its partnership network and on the eve of the upcoming initiatives to mark the 20th anniversary of the institution's establishment, a new strategic partnership for cooperation with the International Foundation "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" was signed.
On April 8, after an official meeting between the Executive Director of the International Foundation "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", Mihail Tachev, and the Director of the State Cultural Institute under the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Snezhana Yoveva-Dimitrova, a partnership and cooperation agreement was signed for a period of three years. Through it, the two institutions agree to cooperate in the preparation and implementation of cultural events such as exhibitions, seminars and others, through which Bulgarian culture and cultural and historical heritage are promoted.
The first event in this direction is an upcoming collective exhibition with selected paintings from the Foundation's collection, which will be realized in May, and for this purpose, art historian Prof. Chavdar Popov has been invited as curator. For the first time, paintings from the Foundation's collection that have not been shown to the general public will be exhibited. The event is planned in the "Mission" gallery. Expect a rich program that will illustrate the partnership between the two institutions.
