Upcoming exhibition: "Re-action: Bulgaria and the Euro" at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Prague
The poster exhibition “Re-action: Bulgaria and the Euro” will be presented at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Prague, Czech Republic. The opening will take place today, January 14 at 7:00 PM.
Curator of the exhibition is Albena Spasova. Among the authors presented are Prof. Bozhidar Yonov, Katalina Vasileva, Radoslava Boor, Lyuba Tomova, Nenko Atanasov, Damyan Damyanov, Georgi Georgiev-Arshata, Ivan Kashlakov and Mila Lozanova.
“Re-action: Bulgaria and the Euro” is a contemporary visual contribution on behalf of Bulgarian artists from the International Triennial of the Stage Poster to the news that Bulgaria has been accepted in the eurozone, which was officially confirmed on 8th July 2025. The theme unites 13 large-format posters, not as a comment, nor a response, but as "an artistic intervention within the evolving geopolitical landscape", the team that prepared the exhibition said.
The exhibition will be on view in the gallery of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Prague until January 30, in the institute’s working hours.
