“Border Situation” Exhibition at Apolonia 2010
After the presentation in Sofia the exhibition “Border Situation: the Drawing in Contemporary Art” in which were included works of about 40 Bulgarian artists, the State Cultural Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which initiated the project, made a special selection that will be displayed in other Bulgarian cities and abroad. The first appearance of the mobile version has been presented at Apolonia 2010 at the city gallery in Sozopol. The exposition was opened on August 28th by the Chairman of Apolonia Foundation Prof. Dimo Dimov and representatives of the festival partnering organizations. The beneficial cooperation between the Institute and the only Bulgarian international arts festival Apolonia encouraged the search of a creative solution to set up a mobile selection in the firm belief that the wide audience will appreciate the efforts for promotion of the contemporary Bulgarian art.
The organization of cultural events based on good partnership like the partnership between the Cultural Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the “Apolonia” Festival are the most successful form for the realization of goals and tasks in culture.
