Activation of Partnership With National Endowment Fund "13 Centuries Bulgaria"

In the town of Samokov, in one of the sites of the National Endowment Fund "13 Centuries Bulgaria" - the Sarafska House, a contract was signed for the continuation of cooperation between the State Institute for Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Fund. The two directors Snezhana Joveva and Bisera Yosifova confidently reaffirmed the need to activate this fruitful cooperation.

In the next three years, the two institutions will continue to cooperate on significant initiatives in the field of culture and on projects that bring together and promote the cultural and historical heritage on a European and regional scale.

"Today we are re-signing a cooperation agreement right here - at the Sarafska House, because from today a specialized creative plein air of poster artists participants in a project that the State Institute for Culture is working on together with the International Triennial of the Stage Poster, generally speaking, related to the contemporary dimension of the preserved local memory for the Bulgarian Jews, and here in Samokov there is a lot to be gained in terms of information and knowledge", specified the director of the State Institute for Culture Snezhana Joveva. "The projects implemented by the State Institute for Culture can be promoted through the mechanisms of the Fund, as well as through the Historical Museum - Samokov", pointed out Ms.Yosifova.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Veselin Hadjiangelov, director of the History Museum in Samokov, as well as the artists participating in the initiative "Strategic cooperation between Bulgaria and Norway, in support of Bulgaria's international commitments to combat anti-Semitism and the preservation of Jewish heritage" - part of the National Plan to Counter Anti-Semitism, which is taking place in the city.
