THE STATE INSTITUTE FOR CULTURE AND THE FACULTY OF CLASSICAL AND NEW PHILOLOGIES SIGNED A COOPERATION AGREEMENT
In Meeting Hall 2 in the Rectorate of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in the presence of the Dean's Council of the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philologies, the director of the State Institute for Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs - Snezhana Yoveva-Dimitrova and Prof. Dr. Madeleine Danova , dean of the faculty, signed a cooperation agreement.
The document envisages the possibility of a closer connection between the two institutions and the implementation of internships for students from the Faculty at the State Institute for Culture, in particular from the Master's programs "Cultural Relations and Geopolitics of the EU" and "Europe and Asia: Cultural Diplomacy and geopolitics of the EU", as well as to students from other undergraduate programs and specialties of the faculty who study subjects related to cultural mediation and cultural diplomacy and their foreign policy dimensions.
Thematic visits will be organized and students will be introduced to the Art Fund and the work on it as a tool of cultural diplomacy. It is planned to strengthen the professional interaction, organization of lectures, seminars, preparation of joint research in the field of cultural diplomacy and cultural management and exchange of developments on certain topics.
