The State Institute for Culture at the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Bulgarian National Radio Signed a Cooperation Agreement
Bulgarian National Radio becomes a partner of the State Institute for Culture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the preparation, implementation and promotion of nationally and internationally significant cultural, social and educational initiatives. The contract was signed by the director of the State Institute for Culture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Snezhana Joveva – Dimitrova and the general director of BNR, Milen Mitev.
"For us, this partnership with BNR is extremely important. I would define it as strategically important from the point of view that the State Cultural Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs implements important international national projects in the field of cultural diplomacy and in topics related to the promotion of cultural-historical heritage and contemporary art. It is through the channels of the BNR that information would reach real users faster and more actively", noted Snezhana Yoveva - Dimitrova. -" Especially since our institute has been implementing an important project financed by the Norwegian fund for a year now. It is called "Strategic cooperation between Bulgaria and Norway in support of the international commitments of Bulgaria and Norway to combat anti-Semitism and the preservation of Jewish heritage." Together with colleagues from the Diplomatic Institute and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we are carrying out a number of studies and public events to show the modern dimensions of the memory of the preservation for the salvation of the Bulgarian Jews. And the results of this project, I believe, will reach a wider audience through the cooperation with BNR. In this way, many more people will be able to learn about the current cultural products and projects that our team implements."
Mr. Milen Mitev emphasized: "An important part of the mission of BNR is to keep public trust high by presenting objectively and in-depth the current topics that excite people, to prepare programs in support of education, science, culture, to work for the affirmation of important values for Bulgarian society, to create the living relationship with the Bulgarian communities abroad. This contract is another step in the successful implementation of this mission through the programs of BNR and our presence in the digital space, through our websites and new media products.”
