The film was presented in front of a full house, was very well received and aroused great interest among the audience. The screening was attended by representatives of Japanese film circles and friends of Bulgaria.
In her greeting to the audience, Ambassador Arabadjieva stressed that this is the first Bulgarian-Japanese film co-production and expressed hope that such initiatives will increase interest in Bulgaria and will open new opportunities for cooperation.
After the screening, a "Talk Show" was held with the participation of the Japanese actress who played the main female role in the film, Mrs. Kiki Sugino and Ambassador Arabadjieva. The viewers asked many questions about the Gypsy minority in Bulgaria, the problems of birth rates in Bulgaria and Japan, cultural differences, the filming process and more.
The screening and the subsequent "Talk show" contributed to the promotion of the film as an example of successful cooperation in the cultural field.
As part of EU Film Days in Japan, the film will be screened twice in Tokyo and twice in Kyoto. In November 2021, the film was presented for the first time at the Hiroshima International Film Festival. The State Institute for Culture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs assisted in the participation of the film in the festival.
