The State Institute for Culture is a Partner of the Fifth Edition of the Asian Festival "United in Diversity"
On June 14, 2025 (Saturday), South Park II in Sofia (behind the "Earth and People" Museum) will become the scene of a cultural journey through Asia. From 10:00 to 22:00, the Bulgarian capital will host the fifth edition of the Asian Festival "United in Diversity", an event that has established itself as emblematic of international cultural cooperation.
The State Institute for Culture is a partner of the festival, as part of its efforts to promote intercultural dialogue and support events related to cultural diplomacy.
The festival is realized through the joint initiative of the embassies and diplomatic missions of China, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, India, Iran, Mongolia, Palestine, Pakistan, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates. The event is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Sofia Municipality and with the participation of the State Institute for Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the cultural wealth of Asia through stands with authentic dishes, traditional arts and crafts, as well as interactive workshops. The festival stage will offer a colorful program of dances, music and martial arts demonstrations, presenting the cultural heritage of the participating countries.
As every year, the Asian Festival will be accompanied by a charity initiative - by purchasing a raffle ticket, each visitor will be able to support a chosen cause and participate in a draw for attractive prizes.
Entrance to the festival is free.
