The Exhibition "Miraculous Icons and Holy Relics of the Balkans" Opened at the Cultural Information Center of the Republic of Bulgaria in Skopje

On February 4, the director of the State Institute for Culture at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Snezhana Yoveva-Dimitrova, opened the exhibition "Miraculous Icons and Holy Relics of the Balkans" at the Cultural Information Center of the Republic of Bulgaria in Skopje. The exhibition is a joint project with the Center for Slavic-Byzantine Studies "Prof. Ivan Duychev" and is a guest at the invitation of the director of BCIC-Skopje Antonia Veleva.

Special guests of the event, which is realized with the media partnership of BTA, were the Minister of Foreign Affairs Teodora Genchovska, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Velislava Petrova, the Deputy Minister of Culture Yuri Valkovski, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Culture and Media Toshko Yordanov and the Ambassador of Bulgaria to the Republic of Northern Macedonia Angel Angelov. Also present were the Director General of BTA Kiril Valchev, the Director General of BNR Milen Mitev and the Chief Operating Officer of BTV Mr. Yovchev, diplomats, media, guests.

"The most important message from this exhibition is that faith can make us stronger and more confident to be together and I believe that it will continue its way in Bitola and other places where culture can be the real bridge between us. ", said Snezhana Yoveva at the presentation.

The exposition will remain open until the end of February, and then will visit our Consulate General in Bitola, said Antonia Veleva, head of the Cultural Information Center of the Republic of Bulgaria in Skopje.
