The photographic exhibition "Directions" will be opened on January 29 at the Bulgaria Gallery at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Rome. It is one of the traveling exhibitions of the State Institute for Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs and presents selected photographs from the 2020 competition on the occasion of celebrating 15 years since the establishment of the Institute.

The authors are Ventsislav Petrov, Violeta Apostolova, Georgi Mitev, Elena Savova, Zlatko Latev, Ivan Nestorov, Izabela Manolova, Lilyana Karadjova, Minko Mihailov, Nikolay Alexiev, Plamen Hristov, Rozalia Malcheva, Tanya Angelova and Hristo Kracholov.

The project presents images taken by photography enthusiasts, without age or professional restrictions, which directly or indirectly reflect the themes of globalization, identity, intercultural dialogue and tolerance between different nations, natural beauty, faces and emotions.

The exhibition was realized for the first time in 2020 together with the PhotoFabrika Foundation, after a professional jury selected photographs of 14 participants, who most directly correspond to the topic. The exposition has visited several Bulgarian diplomatic missions around the world, as well as has been displayed in the open in partnership with the Sofia Municipality and the Slovak Embassy in Sofia.
