EXHIBITION ON THE OCCASION OF 30 YEARS SINCE THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN GATHERED DIPLOMATES AND FRIENDS OF KAZAKHSTAN

The photo exhibition "30 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was opened in a limited composition in the representative hall of events of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, floor 7. The event, attended by diplomats, guests and friends of Kazakhstan, was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in partnership with the State Institute for Culture under the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The exhibition presents photographs that reflect the development of Kazakhstan in the years since independence and show the tolerance of Kazakhstan's multinational society.

Among the official guests of the opening were: the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan - H.E. Temirtai Izbastin, the Ambassador of Serbia – H.E. Zeljko Jovic, Ambassador of Palestine – H.E. Ahmed al Madbuh, Mr. Maxim Petrov - Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Russian Federation, Mr. Nikolai Pozdnyak - Counselor at the Embassy of Belarus, a special guest of the event was the Director General of BTA Mr. Kiril Valchev, as well as Mr. Boris Gromov - Director of the House of Moscow in Sofia, representatives of associations of friends of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition was opened by H.E. Temirtay Izbastin, who made an extensive retrospective of historical moments in Kazakh history during these 30 years of independence. In his welcoming remarks, Deputy Minister Mr. Lyutskanov said: “Over the years, Kazakhstan has stood out as a country with a rapidly developing economy, with stability and understanding between peoples of all nationalities and religions. Bulgaria has excellent relations with our friends from Kazakhstan, upon which we build in various fields. ”Ms. Snezhana Yoveva, Director of the State Institute for Culture noted to the guests that this diverse, colorful photo exhibition brings emotions, but also rich information about Kazakhstan and is a real example of cultural diplomacy in action.

The initiative aims to activate the representative space on the 7th floor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by visiting mobile (poster or photographic) exhibitions from diplomatic missions, cultural institutes and regional museums, galleries.
