The exhibition 'Bulgarian monuments under the protection of UNESCO' in Thessaloniki

The State Institute for Culture's travelling exhibition "Bulgarian Monuments under the Protection of UNESCO" opened on October 6 2016 at the Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki.

The project was jointly implemented by the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Thessaloniki, the State Institute for Culture and the Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki. The exhibition includes 16 colour posters with photographs by Alexander Nishkov of the sites included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The exhibition was opened by the Consul General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Thessaloniki Vladimir Pisanchev and the director of the Museum of Byzantine Culture Tsilipakou Agathoniki. At the event, guests had the chance to hear a performance by the Rotunda string orchestra, led by Professor Irina Dragneva.

The exhibition will be presented at the Museum of Byzantine Culture in Thessaloniki until October 23, 2016. The media partners are TV ERT3 and ERT3 radio.
