Bulgarian monuments under UNESCO protection and an exhibition of Prof. Gredi Assa in Shanghai
An exhibition of works by the Bulgarian artist Gredi Assa was displayed in the newly open “Mulin” gallery in Shanghai from the 15 to 31 July 2008. Its main organizer and sponsor was Dr Choi Pak Wo from the Republic of Korea who currently resides in Shanghai. The Bulgarian General Consulate also supported the preparations for the exhibition. A full-colour catalogue presenting the life and work of the artist was published for the occasion and was accompanied by a welcome introduction by the Bulgarian General Consular in Shanghai. This is the first exhibition of a Bulgarian artist in Shanghai. The photo-exhibition “Bulgarian monuments in the UNESCO World Heritage list” was arranged in the foyer of the gallery as part of the “Travelling exhibitions” programme of the Institute for culture.
