The Institute for Culture organizes a course on cultural diplomacy
Today the Diplomatic Institute within the Ministry for Foreign Affairs marked the beginning of its first educational programme under the topic “Cultural diplomacy”. The training module is part of the course for young diplomats and was organized by the Institute for Culture. The opening speech was delivered by the Director of the Institute Lyudmila Dimitrova. The art expert Vesela Radoeva introduced the art and sculpture collections of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs as well as some of the interesting projects of the Institute in the field of visual arts.The programme is developed by the Institute for Culture in partnership with experts from the Ministry of Culture, art experts, artists, organizers of well-established festivals and various cultural events.
The aim of the programme is to give theoretical and practical knowledge of the young diplomats in the field of cultural diplomacy, basic knowledge of cultural policies, international relations and European integration.
