Photo encounters in Athens
The work of two young phtographers from Bulgaria and Greece - Alexander Mihaylov and Elefteria Koussiaki was presented in a common exhibition at the House-Museum of Hadjimihali in Plaka - the artistic district of Greek capital. There is placed the Centre of Folk Art and Tradition and both photographers use the folklore tradition of their countries as a starting point for their inspiration
The exhibition take place in the scope of European Year of Intercultural Dialogue and aims to discover in a special way what Bulgarians and Greeks have in common by means of their traditional customs.
Traditions is part of tme mobile exhibitions programme of Institute for Culture at the Minister of foreign affairs The Photographic encounters exhibition in Athens was organised by the Cultural Organisation - Municipality of Athens and Embassy of Republic of Bulgaria in Greek capital.
