The Institute for Culture hosted the presentation of the Sculpture park of the Ministry at the Night of Museums in Sofia. The event was supported by a musical group from the National Music High School “Lyubomir Pipkov” and students from The National High School for Fine Arts “Ilia Petrov”. The ethno-jazz group “Silver boys” performed their own compositions while the young sculptors had the mission to show guests around the sculpture works on display in the park.

“The Night of Museums” in Sofia is held for the third year in a row with the great interest of the audience. Almost all major museums in the capital city took part in the initiative this year. The event has become very popular throughout Europe over the past few years. It started in 2005 as an initiative of the French Ministry of Culture and Communications and with the following four editions attracted large numbers of audiences. Last year 956 museums welcomed guests and more than 960 museums in the other 41 European countries hosted similar events.
