The “Traditions” exhibition at the festival in Manisa, Turkey
The 48th annual edition of the folklore festival “Mesir”, one of the oldest cultural forums in the world, took place in mid-March in the old Aegean city of Manisa (close of Izmir). 27/03/2008
Bulgaria was represented by the “Traditions” exhibition of photographer Alexander Mihaylov that is included in the “Travelling exhibitions” project of the Institute for Culture. Several exhibitions were shown under the open sky; the Bulgarian being one of them, showing some of the most interesting traditions and customs that are practised by the various cultural communities.
