Bulgarian puppet theatres take part in the ”IF” International festival of puppet theatres in Milan
The State Puppet Theatre in Varna was presented with “The Cave of Shadows” and “Thumbelina” and theatre “Credo” delivered their well-known version of “The Coat” by Gogol. (on the picture) Two Bulgarian puppet theatre troupes took part in the”IF” International festival of puppet theatres that was held from 22 till 24 April 2008 in Milan, Italy.
The guest performances of the Bulgarian troupes were initiated by the “Verdi” theatre in Milan with the active participation and patronage of the General Consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria in Milan.
The Institue for Culture participated by organizing working meetings of representatives of Bulgarian and Italian puppet theatres.
