An evening in London devoted to the Bulgarian literature
On 18 November 2010, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in London jointly with the British-Bulgarian Friendship Society organised an evening devoted to the Bulgarian literature entitled Bulgarian Writers at Eventful Times.
Bulgarian writer Emil Andreev was guest and participant in the discussion concerning the Bulgarian literary works. He shared his views of literary developments in the past twenty years and until the present time. He expressed his hope that the tendency of gradual revival and blossoming of the Bulgarian poetry and fiction will be pursued, and that the number of Bulgarian literary works available to the foreign public will increase.
The literary evening ended with an excerpt from Crazy Luka, Emil Andreev’s latest book.
