Screening of the Film "The Endless Garden" during the Week of the Francophone Film in Skopje

In the period March 15-22, 2024, the Francophone Film Week was held in the city of Skopje, organized by the French Cultural Institute and the Embassy of France, with the participation of the embassies and cultural centers of Bulgaria, Switzerland, Belgium, Greece, Albania, Romania and Republic of North Macedonia. The partner of the event was the Cinematheque of the Republic of North Macedonia, Skopje, where the film screenings of the participating countries are organized.

On March 16, the Bulgarian  film "The Endless Garden" by director Galin Stoev, based on his joint script with Yana Borisova, was shown at the Cinematheque of the Republic of North Macedonia. The screening was organized by the Embassy of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Cultural and Information Center - Skopje, with the assistance of the State Institute for Culture at the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria.

The film, whose plot focuses on human relations and the need for dialogue between people, was extremely well received by the audience. The screening took place before a full hall, in the presence of representatives of the diplomatic corps in the country, the Bulgarian community, the cultural and artistic circles, as well as friends of Bulgaria. Before the screening, Mrs. Elena Slatinska-Ovanezova, First Secretary at the Polish Embassy in Skopje, greeted the attendees on behalf of Ambassador A. Angelov, in Bulgarian and French.

The participation in the event of Bulgaria, which has been a full member of the Francophone Community since 1993, was appreciated by the organizers, who thanked all participating countries, including the Bulgarian side, within the framework of the official opening of the Month of Francophonie in Skopje.
