"BULGARIA FROM A BIRD'S VIEW" GATHERED A HUGE AUDIENCE IN LONDON

On January 26, 2024 The phototype exhibition "Bulgaria from a bird's eye view" with author Alexander Ivanov was officially opened in the "Sofia" exhibition hall at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in London. The event took place in partnership with the State Cultural Institute of the Minister of Foreign Affairs as part of the "Mobile Exhibitions" program.
A large audience filled the gallery space, over 150 people representing English and Bulgarian and other communities in the city of London, and official guests were representatives of the Bulgarian embassy and institutions in London. Mrs. Miglena Rogacheva, associate at BKI-London and Mrs. Katalina Vasileva, senior expert at DKI at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, opened the event with an official presentation of the exhibition and its role in the "Mobile Exhibitions" program of the State Cultural Institute and its location in the cultural diplomacy of the Republic of Bulgaria.

Everyone had the opportunity to look at unique photographs of the nature and cultural sights of Bulgaria with a glass of Bulgarian wine and to enjoy the digital multimedia presentation of the photo-creation of the author Alexander Ivanov. Among the guests was Mr. Harizan Harizanov, Secretary at the Embassy, who discussed the plans of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria on the possibility of implementing selected visualizations representing Bulgaria in 2024 at the planned official events and meetings held in our foreign country representative office in London, Great Britain. He was fascinated by the phototype exhibit and expressed his desire to have it digitally presented at upcoming meetings at the embassy.

The exhibition can be viewed until February 29, 2024 in the "Sofia" gallery of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute - London.
