Journey to Jerusalem movie streaming online in Argentina
For several days at the end of December 2023, the Embassy of Bulgaria in Buenos Aires and the Argentine-Israeli Cultural Association (AMIA) organized an online presentation of Ivan Nichev's film "Journey to Jerusalem", the plot of which is related to the vicissitudes of refugees from the persecutions against the Jews during the Holocaust. The film, which is subtitled in Spanish, has been met with interest by both the Bulgarian community and a large audience and has been viewed over 1,000 times according to data on the online presentation platform.
In a pre-recorded video address, which was also available online, Ambassador Stoyan Mihailov thanked the viewers for their interest, recalled the humanitarian position of the Bulgarian people during the Second World War in defense of the persecuted Jews.
The presentations of Ivan Nichev's film in the programs of our embassies in Latin America were provided by the State Cultural Institute and were dedicated to the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the rescue of the Bulgarian Jews.
