Open Call for Titles for the International Film Festival of Art (FIFA) in Montreal
The State Institute for Culture is pleased to inform you of an open call for titles for the International Film Festival of Art (FIFA), which will take place in Montreal from March 14-24, 2024. Detailed information is available at https://lefifa.com/en/appel-a-soumissions.
When registering by August 31, 2023, participants pay a reduced fee of CAD 40 for films over 40 minutes and CAD 20 for titles under 40 minutes. The standard registration fee is CAD 55 and CAD 30 respectively. The application procedure is open until October 31, 2023.
FIFA's page states that films must premiere for Montreal and be in French or English, have voiceovers or subtitles in one of the two languages, or be without dialogue/mute. The films are divided into 3 categories – short (under 30 minutes), medium length (31-59 minutes) and full-length – 60 minutes or more. The festival is aimed at art productions, biographical and documentary films, art videos, media arts and more.
